In diesem Kurs wollen wir kleine Touren durch die Stadt oder stadtnahe Natur fahren. Wir legen Wert auf Sicherheit, Spaß an der gemeinsamen Bewegung und ein naturverbundenes und nachhaltiges Fahrerlebnis. Die Treffpunkte für die Touren können variieren und werden ggf. vorab nochmal per Mail detailliert abgestimmt. Voraussetzungen: Die Bereitschaft einen Kopfschutz zu tragen und ein eigenes geeignetes Fahrrad mit Straßenzulassung mitzubringen werden vorausgesetzt.
In this course, we want to go on short sporty tours through the countryside close to the city. Nature enthusiasts in particular will get their money's worth. We emphasize safety, fun on a tour together and a riding experience close to nature. The meeting points for the tours may vary and will be coordinated in advance by email if necessary. The course only takes place every 14 days!
Requirements: You must be prepared to wear head protection and bring your own suitable road-legal bike.
„Radfahren entlang der Stationen der „Sustainable Campus Tour“: Biodiversität & Mobilität
Diese Radtour steht unter dem Motto: „Nachhaltigkeit auf und um den Campus der Freien Universität entdecken“. Mit dem Rad geht es zu verschiedenen Stationen auf und rund um den Campus Dahlem. Ob Gemeinschaftsgarten, Blühender Campus-Fläche, der FU-Mini-Wald oder Blühendes Dreieck: Mit dem Rad erkunden wir gemeinsam tolle Biodiversitäts-Hotspots und machen am Ende eine „Getränke- und Snack“ Runde in der Blätterlaube. Nebenbei erzählt Janet Wagner von ihrem Projekt „FUturRad – fahrradfreundlicher Campus“. Rebecca Rongstock (Biodiversitätsmanagerin) stellt an den Stationen viele spannende Hintergrund-Infos bereit, wie jede/r mehr für Artenschutz und Klima tun kann.
Bitte Helm und eigenes Fahrrad mit Straßenzulassung bitte mitbringen!

“Cycling Along the Stops of the ‘Sustainable Campus Tour’: Biodiversity & Mobility
This bike tour is themed around “Discovering sustainability on and around the Freie Universität campus.” We’ll cycle to various stops on and around the Dahlem campus—whether it’s the community garden, the Blooming Campus area, the FU Mini-Forest, or the Blooming Triangle: Together, we’ll explore amazing biodiversity hotspots by bike and finish with drinks and snacks at the Blätterlaube. Along the way, Janet Wagner will talk about her project “FUturRad – Bike-Friendly Campus.” Rebecca Rongstock (Biodiversity Manager) will provide plenty of fascinating background information at the stops on how everyone can do more for species conservation and the climate.
Please bring a helmet and your own road-legal bicycle!
