Hallo liebe Tischtennisfans und Sportbegeisterte,
im Rahmen der Eröffnung des Padel-Platzes auf dem UniSport-Gelände der Freien Universität Berlin laden wir euch herzlich zu einem besonderen Outdoor-Tischtennisturnier ein! Lasst euch von einem ungewöhnlichen Setting unter freiem Himmel überraschen – bei frischer Luft, Sonne und viel Spaß um den kleinen, weißen Ball.
Egal ob Anfänger, Wiedereinsteiger oder „Tischtennis-Crack“ – bei unserem Turnier steht der Spaß am Spiel, die sportliche Erfahrung und das gemeinsame Miteinander im Vordergrund.

Ablauf & Spielmodus
Gespielt wird auf drei Outdoor-Tischtennisplatten – so entsteht ein abwechslungsreicher und spannender Turnierabend mit vielen kurzen, intensiven Duellen.
Das Turnier läuft im Zeitspiel-Modus:

Pro Spiel stehen 10 Minuten zur Verfügung.

Sieger ist, wer nach Ablauf der Zeit die meisten Punkte hat.

Es starten 3 Gruppen auf den drei Platten;
im Anschluss folgen Achtel-, Viertel-, Halb- und das Finale.
Wichtige Hinweise

Die Teilnahme ist für alle offen – Uni-Interne wie auch externe Gäste.

Bitte bringt sportgerechte Kleidung sowie eigene Tischtennisschläger mit.

Spielbälle stellen wir bereit.

Respekt, Fairplay und eine gute Atmosphäre stehen an erster Stelle – es geht um gemeinsame Freude am Sport, nicht nur um das Ergebnis.

2026 Outdoor Table Tennis Tournament
Hello, table tennis fans and sports enthusiasts,
To celebrate the opening of the padel court on the UniSport grounds at Freie Universität Berlin, we cordially invite you to a special outdoor table tennis tournament! Come and be surprised by an unusual open-air setting—with fresh air, sunshine, and lots of fun chasing that little white ball.
Whether you’re a beginner, returning to the sport, or a “table tennis pro”—our tournament focuses on the joy of the game, the athletic experience, and camaraderie.

Tournament start: 4:30 PM
End: approx. 8:00 PM
Schedule & Format
The tournament will be played on three outdoor table tennis tables—creating a varied and exciting evening of competition with many short, intense matches.
The tournament will be played in time-based mode:
Each match lasts 10 minutes.
The winner is the player with the most points when time runs out.
Three groups will start on the three tables;
followed by the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final.
Important Notes
Participation is open to everyone—both university students and external guests.
Please bring appropriate athletic clothing and your own table tennis rackets.
We will provide the balls.
Respect, fair play, and a positive atmosphere are our top priorities—it’s about enjoying the sport together, not just the result.
